LINUX SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR - based in Lancashire, £33,000 - £39,000 & Excellent Benefits Package

A talented Linux Systems Administrator is required to join a highly reputable and large-scale organisation based in Lancashire. Working within a talented IT infrastructure team you will provide administration across Linux Systems and Servers across a wide range of departments across the organisation.

Key Skills & Background:

In depth knowledge of Linux Systems Administration.
Experience of Virtualisation technologies such as Linux VServer or VMWare.
Knowledge of basic TCP/IP protocols including DNS, SMTP and HTTP.
Knowledge of any of: centOS, Suse, Red Hat or Debian.

Knowledge and experience in the following would be distinctly desirable:

Administration of Hardware and software RIAD systems.
Administration of WiFi captive portal systems.
Knowledge of web filtering or firewall systems.
