1st Line Deskside IT Support Analyst - London c £30K base with a generous annual bonus also on offer and excellent benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an International Investment Bank, for a 1st Line IT Support Analyst to offer customer facing, deskside support in their Central London office. You will be offering onsite support to local staff and remote support to other regional offices as part of the London IT Team. This is not a Service Desk or Helpdesk role but you will be working as part of a team regularly interacting with users on a face to face basis.

You will serve as the initial primary contact between users and the IT Support Team, and so exceptional customer care skills are essential. You will be encouraged to take ownership of user issues, only escalating them if you are unable to resolve them. This is an ideal opportunity for someone perhaps looking to progress their career, confident in their IT Support skills. Working in a small team you will have the opportunity to experience and learn many tools and technologies you may not have had exposure to.

You will also have the opportunity of working on projects and may be entrusted to lead on projects as you progress.

There is a requirement to be onsite 4 days a week (usually Mon-Thurs) with the ability to work remotely on the other day. Support and training will be offered and in addition to the base salary an exceptional bonus and benefits package is offered.

Key skills and requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years in a customer facing 1st line support in a corporate environment - not purely in a Service Desk capacity
  • Good knowledge of Office 365 applications
  • Knowledge and experience working with Windows 10
  • Confident in troubleshooting and finding resolutions to issues raised
  • A good base knowledge of hardware and troubleshooting common issues
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills - this is absolutely essential!
