Cyber Security Manager - Hatfield ,Hertfordshire up to £60,000 with exceptional benefits and hybrid working
Our client is a well-established, highly renowned education institution with over 30,000 unique users. They are looking to a skilled Cyber Security Manager to lead their IT Security function.
Reporting to the Head of IT Operations, you will take day to day ownership of the Cyber Security operations and team. You will develop and implement effective security controls to ensure their IT systems and users are protected from existing and emerging threats. Working collaboratively with technical service leads and other stakeholders, you will deliver best practice security controls, processes and plans. You would lead a team of 3 and be responsible for IT Security strategy across the organisation.

Skill and experience required:
You will be a confident team leader with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will have substantial knowledge and experience of:
- Server systems administration and patch management
- AD, ADFS, AzureAD, M365 security, SIEM, Email security, DLP, Vulnerability Assessment and management tools and NGAV
- Microsoft and Amazon Cloud services
- Developing Cyber Security Incident Plan (CIRP) with forensic readiness
- IT Security principles and standards including GDPR and CyberEssentials
