The Role: As our Group Treasurer, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations, ensuring optimal cash flow, and mitigating financial risks. You will oversee treasury activities across a diverse portfolio, including cash management, liquidity planning, and investment strategies. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive financial efficiency and support our growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and optimise cash management.
  • Monitor cash flow forecasts and liquidity requirements to support strategic decision-making and ensure financial stability.
  • Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to negotiate favourable terms and optimise banking services.
  • Oversee foreign exchange exposure and interest rate risk management to minimise financial volatility.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and recommend strategies to maximise returns while maintaining prudent risk levels.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the treasury team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CTP, CFA) preferred.
  • Proven experience in treasury management, preferably in the telecommunications or technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments, cash management techniques, and risk management principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and mitigating risks.
