IT SERVICE DESK ANALYST / 2nd LINE SUPPORT - Manchester £27,000 to £31,000 + Excellent Benefits + Bonus (Up to 80% remote working available)

Our client, a Globally acclaimed Law Firm, are looking to add to their talented IT Support team based in Manchester, working Monday to Friday 15:00 - 23:00. Responding and resolving IT Support issues, you must have proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving Windows 10 and MSOffice 2016 issues.

The role offers a mix of onsite and remote working with a high level of flexibility offered. Our client is a highly respected global professional services firm which offers a strong technical challenge and a real focus on developing careers.

Working as part of a Global Team, you will provide both 1st and 2nd line IT Support. The Service Desk is responsible for the resolution of desktop, notebook, application, and remote computing issues - all in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. Our client prides itself on their consistently high rate of first call resolution.

You will handle escalations from Technology teams located throughout their global offices network. You will also be providing remote access support in addition to supporting mobile collaboration using Blackberry Work apps, amongst others.

KEY SKILLS & BACKGROUND

  • You will have expert knowledge and proficiency in a wide variety of software programs, including Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook). Expertise in these is essential. You will also be offering support on other applications such as iManage and Litera ChangePro, Cisco Jabber and DTE software but training can be provided on applications you may be unfamiliar with
  • You will be experienced providing support within a 2nd line capacity
  • Experience in an ITIL v3 Service Management toolset (ServiceNow preferred)
  • If you have fluency in French and/or German this would be highly valued but is NOT essential and not deter suitably experienced candidates
