Applications Developer (Web / Mobile / Server) – City of London / Hybrid
We are working with an established Global Law Firm as they expand their London Technology team due to continued growth.

We are working with them as they look to engage an Applications Developer to be part of their Global Applications Team. You will be developing high-performance web, mobile, and client- server applications whilst also maintaining existing applications.
You will engage with stakeholders across the business and so exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are vital.
It is preferred that you have experience within the Legal sector, although experience within an enterprise scale professional services firm would also be of interest.
Some key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Analysing business requirements to determine solutions through custom development, evaluating software, or modifying existing solutions
- Designing, developing, and maintaining custom web applications using Microsoft .NET (.NET Core, .NET Framework) with C#, ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server
- Implement responsive, user-friendly front-ends
- Build and consume REST APIs for integration
- Designing and building AI-powered features and tools
- Developing and optimising SQL
- Utilising low-code development platforms such as Power Apps, Power Automate, PatternBuilder, and Fliplet to design and implement custom applications that improve business processes and workflow efficiency
- You will also be involved in collating documentation, testing and providing support and training to users
Skills and experience required:
- Solid knowledge of web application architecture and design patterns
- Minimum of 3 years of application development experience using Microsoft .NET (.NET Core or .NET Framework) with C#, ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server
- Minimum of 2 years of experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Experience building modern, robust web applications using React; familiarity with other front-end libraries (e.g., jQuery, Bootstrap) would also be highly beneficial (but not essential)
- Practical experience with AI development concepts such as prompt engineering, AI agent development, RAG, and vector databases/semantic search (e.g., Pinecone, Azure AI Search, Chroma)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services
Please note that there is an in-office requirement of 3 days a week in their City of London office.
