AV Support Analyst
AV Support Analyst – Professional Services Client / City of London
Our client is looking to an AV (Audio Visual) Support Analyst to join their team as they look to hugely expand their Audio-Visual capabilities as they move to new, larger premises. It should be noted that there are c1000 people that will work out of this office and so experience of a fast-paced environment is essential.
Our client is a Global leader in their sector, proudly boasting an increase of over 20% to their already billion-dollar Global in their last published annual accounts.
You will operate and provide support for all audio/visual (AV) components and technology equipment in conference rooms. This includes display types, codecs, microphones, and control systems. You will also look to ensure functionality for audio and video conference calls, PC‑based presentations and intranet/internet wireless connections.
Your role will also include daily checks on equipment, and you will look to ensure any issues are reported and rectified swiftly.
You will engage with a wide range of users at all levels and so in addition to technical expertise we are also looking for an individual that values offering exemplary customer service.
This is an onsite role, and you will be required to work in the office each day Monday to Friday. Hybrid working is not an option.
Key skills and experience required:
- You will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in an AV support role
- This will include experience in video and audio conferencing and meeting room technologies
- You will also have experience in control systems such as Extron or Crestron, Bi‑Amp systems, microphones, speakers, and projection equipment
- You will be familiar with IT and networking products
- Ideally you will also have certifications from manufacturers, such as Extron or Crestron, or industry organisations, such as AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or CMP
- You will also be able to evidence Technology support experience with PC hardware and software
