Technical IT Project Manager – Liverpool / Hybrid working

Our client, an organisation of international repute and one of the largest employers in Liverpool, is looking to a Technical IT Project Manager to join their established IT Services team.
  
You would be working across a wide range of Technology projects of varying sizes, for the benefit of a unique user base of 30,000.
  
The wider team work across a number of initiatives that include infrastructure, applications, systems and transformation. They would like to engage with an individual that has proven experience in the delivery of large-scale projects in one or more of these areas.
  
This is a 2-year fixed term contract.

Key skills, experience and qualifications required:

  • You must have proven experience of delivering on complex large scale technology focused projects
  • You will have experience of project management methodologies, tools and project management techniques
  • You will be skilled in working in an environment that has a diverse range of stakeholders and the confidence to manage conflicts
  • You will have experience of relaying technical concepts clearly to a non-technical audience
  • You will be able to evidence the ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline
  • Previous proven accountability for sizeable budgets and experience in managing vendors / supplier relationships
  • You will hold a degree, equivalent qualification, or be qualified by experience
  • PMP, APM or Prince 2 certified (Practitioner Level)

  
This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be onsite in central Liverpool 2 days a week, and so you must currently live within a commutable distance of central Liverpool to be considered.
